NEMAforce™ SF for Gnat Control
NEMAforce™ SF (Steinernema feltiae) are naturally-occurring parasitic nematodes that prevent and control larval stages of fungus gnats, shore flies, and the adult, larval, and pupal stages of western flower thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis). Released in their juvenile infective stage, they search out and enter insect pests. Once the nematodes have entered their prey, they release a symbiotic bacteria that quickly kills the targeted insects.
NEMAforce™ SF works quickly to control pest populations and are persistent in the soil, providing prolonged protection against pests. Optimal performance occurs within a temperature range of 50° to 78°F.
Application Guidelines
- Release Rate: 50 million per 550 sq. ft., every 4-6 weeks
- Use Sites: Greenhouses, Indoor Facilities, Fields, Gardens
- Supported Crops: Ornamentals, Hemp, Vegetables, Mushrooms, Soft Fruits, Tree Nurseries
- Targeted Pests: Fungus Gnat Larvae, Shore Fly Larvae, Mushroom Fly Larvae, Western Flower Thrips, Onion Thrips, other Thrips spp. Adults, Larvae, and Pupae.
