Espoma® Organic Peat Moss

Espoma® Organic Peat Moss is an all natural, 100% sphagnum peat moss with no additives. This dark-brown fibrous material retains water while promoting drainage without compacting. Lightweight and all-natural, it's the perfect base for potting mixes.

For use on: For Seed Starting or blending a custom potting mix. Helps loosen heavy soils and prevents compaction.

How much to use:

• For Potting Soil: To improve heavy soil, mix one part soil to one part Peat Moss.
• For Seed Starting: Fill a shallow container with Peat Moss, or blend of 80% Peat and 20% Perlite or Vermiculite.
• For Root Cuttings: Fill a flat or other clean container with Peat Moss, or a blend of 80% Peat and 20% Perlite or Vermiculite, and wet the mix.
• For Bulb Storage: Pour dry Peat Moss over and around bulb. Do not water or compact.
